Dr. Shadley attended Michigan State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and then attended the renowned Palmer College of Chiropractic in Iowa where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Doctor of Chiropractic.
Since the beginning of her career, Dr. Shadley has maintained a passion for caring for pregnant and postpartum individuals. She enjoys empowering people, educating them about their labor & delivery options, and providing them with the tools to enjoy a healthy pregnancy and easier postpartum recovery. She is also very fond of caring for the newborns of her practice members, as they also need gentle and specific chiropractic care to ensure that their nervous systems are functioning optimally.
Dr. Shadley is an International Chiropractic Pediatric Association member, and she is Perinatal Certified and Webster Certified by the ICPA. She is also a certified BIRTHFIT Leader, meaning that she implements the pillars of fitness, nutrition, mindset, and connection to assist you in the motherhood transition.
At Roots Chiropractic, Dr. Shadley aims to help families experience the full benefits of holistic, effective, and safe chiropractic care while inspiring them to take charge of their health for the long-term.

Dr. Tom attended Michigan State University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and then attended the renowned Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, where he graduated Cum Laude with his Doctor of Chiropractic. While there, his love of chiropractic care truly blossomed.
At Roots Chiropractic, Dr. Tom hopes to spread his passion for chiropractic through educating practice members and delivering custom, specific care where they need it most. He is determined to help people get out of pain and back to what they love doing the most, whether that be running marathons, golfing, or playing with their kids. Dr. Tom is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and is certified in the Webster Technique by the ICPA, with the goal of helping as many families as possible thrive through perinatal and pediatric chiropractic care.

Tyra is a graduate of Duquesne University where she earned two B.S. degrees in Biology and Health Sciences in 2019 before achieving her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2021. After obtaining her doctoral degree, she continued her education, becoming a certified Pelvic Health Specialist with advanced clinical competency in pelvic floor physical therapy through Evidence In Motion, where she currently serves on the faculty as an educator for the Pelvic Health curriculum. She is extensively trained in internal and external techniques to diagnose and treat the full musculoskeletal system for patients experiencing problems related to their pelvis and pelvic floor musculature.
Tyra is a certified Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist including training in appropriate exercises and exercise modifications to help decrease the strain on the midline of the abdominal wall and pelvic floor throughout pregnancy, prescribing safe exercises for pregnancy based on the trimester and the ability of the pregnant person, timelines for safe return to exercise postpartum and corrective exercise modifications to help prevent SI joint and low back pain in the prenatal and postpartum period.
Tyra feels her role is to support people navigating their health throughout all stages of life and provide access to research-based, whole-body, holistic care.
